"It isn’t just about flowers, shrubs and trees" says Kathy Vosburg, founder, owner and principal designer of LandEscape Designs of Houston, Texas. "The flora in a garden becomes the accessories or jewelry, the finishing brush strokes to a masterfully created outdoor living space."

Kathy has had an affinity and a reverential awe and wonder of Creation, all things outdoor. She’s always had a knack for nurturing and caring for plant and animal life, from growing tropical plants in her parents’ atrium and sunroom, to hand feeding and raising orphaned baby birds, and working in the family vegetable garden. The passion for all things created and being naturally creative all started at a very young age and has continued to blossom.

Kathy has continued to cultivate and grow her innate artistic eye and creative talents. Her uncanny ability to strikingly improve the function and natural beauty of green spaces has fine-tuned her God given talents for landscape design.

The LandEscape Design process is very purposeful and goal driven:

To make the landscape design process a joy for everyone involved
To share with the client the numerous style and structure possibilities for their space
To consider the client’s wants, needs, desires and wishes; and to bring those elements into a cohesive and integrated conceptual plan
To supervise both the design and construction phases so that LandEscape and its contractor are working in tandem to meet the client’s goals and expectations
To create a landscape and or garden that exceeds our clients’ expectations, and is one that harmonizes with architectural style, the native environment and that is sustainable over time.
